About the HealthyStart® System
No product is as easy or comfortable to use. Our proprietary advanced orthodontic/orthopedic HealthyStart® appliances are BPA, Silicone and Latex Free, ISO 13485, FDA Cleared, Health Canada Class II Medical-Grade Devices that rest comfortably in the mouth. The HealthyStart® Treatment System is safe, effective and naturally promotes growth and development.
Treatment with HealthyStart® is a non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical, pain free and non-invasive therapy when worn at night or as directed to assist children affected by Sleep Disordered Breathing, a restricted airway and crowded or crooked teeth.

What makes HealthyStart® different than conventional treatments?
HealthyStart® is more than a Band-Aid; it is a permanent solution if it is started early enough in a child’s growth. Dr. Bergersen, the orthodontist that invented the FDA Cleared appliances, holds over 500 US and International Patents on his devices.
HealthyStart® addresses the root cause of Sleep Disordered Breathing. The appliances work to expand and develop the airway in children. Compromised or constricted airways have been linked to SDB. Our product performs passively, proactively and with permanent results when started early with patient compliance.
There is no known treatment to have such a dramatic impact on a child’s life.
Many children in treatment with HealthyStart® have dramatically decreased prescription drug doses or come off their prescriptions completely, under the supervision of their physician. Others can finally sleep through the night without wetting the bed. Parents report their children frequently have better focus in school, which has led to better grades and improved opportunities for success in life.
Each appliance performs multiple simultaneous functions and is primarily worn at night while the child is sleeping, so, as they are getting better rest, they are also correcting lifelong habits for permanent improved overall health.
The Appliances
HealthyStart®'s Featured Appliances
Habit Corrector®: The Habit Corrector® eliminates or improves current oral habits that can damage your dental health. The Habit Corrector® is worn at night while sleeping. The main difference between each version is the length, as it reflects the growth of children or adults in each age range.
'C' Series: The 'C' Series is used to guide and correct early dentition, ensuring that teeth grow into their proper positions. The appliance is generally only worn passively at night and usually transitions into the 'IG' or 'G' appliance.
'IG' or 'G' Series: The 'IG' and 'G' Series are based on tooth size, as they act as templates for your mouth and teeth. Both of these appliances will be sized on a case-to-case basis, and they're both generally the same except for color options, as well as stiffness. They are usually worn at night to correct overjet, overbite, crowding, etc.
'N', 'U' and 'X' Series: The 'N', 'U' and 'X' Series are templates for the mouth and the teeth, and they will be sized on a case-to-case basis, much like the 'IG' and 'G' Series. This appliance though involves active clenching for at least 1 hour per day until crowding, overbite or overjet are corrected.

A HealthyStart® team member will contact you about recommended doctors in your area, or, if you choose to do so, you can find a provider yourself through the doctor locator.
#3 Customize Your Plan
Once you find your preferred provider and make an appointment, discuss a customized plan with them to ensure optimal results from the HealthyStart® System for your child.
